Nothing is quite as fun for Fint and I as a good 'ol road trip! And driving through the desert on our way to the beach...well that is just about as good as a road trip can get! One thing is for sure when going on a road trip with Fint....you definitely wont be staying on the road! There will be plenty of detours and trails that must be explored along the way...

SOCAL (Southern California) is the perfect destination to feel like a kid again...to relax completely and forget the world and all the troubles that come with it. Newport Beach has become a favourite destination for us...frozen bananas, long bike rides, sailing, wildlife, frozen yoghurt in cones on the beach, and amazing food choices, it has everything we want in a getaway...and then some.

Michigan
Coming home to MI after a long hard winter was a bit scary for me…as I hate, loathe, hate the cold! Lucky for me, it was cold….very cold…but no real snow…just hats, and coats type of weather. Which, all things considered, is quite nice when you are snuggled up inside with a cup of hot coffee and a piece of my mom’s homemade pie. It is enjoyable really…so no harm in a bit of cold weather, when you don’t have to stand outside in it. ;) This trip was extra meaningful to me, as I got to see all of my brothers and their families…it felt amazing to have quality time with them.
