What better way to spend St. Patrick's Day (weekend) than in the tropics!? Our sentiments exactly.
So when we were told...St. Patrick's Day Ball...Phuket, Thailand....and all for a good cause we said...yep, we are there! We booked flights...packed some clothes that wouldn't get us kicked out...and headed up north for some fun in the sun.
By the end of the trip I was sore from head to toe....sore face from smiling and smiling, sore belly from laughing so much, sore legs from an amazing night dancing with friends, and SUP boarding the next morning! The only thing that wasn't sore was my heart, which was filled to the brim with happiness! ;) I am a very lucky girl.

The first day we arrived we dropped off our bags and ran straight to the beach for the sunset. And it was absolutely beautiful. We walked all along the beach and ended up on the cliffs at a beautiful open air restaurant, Baan Rim Pa, on the cliffs with a stunning view of the beach. It was the perfect place to celebrate our belated Valentine's Day! ;)
If you ever find yourself on Patong Beach...do yourself a favour and visit this wonderful restaurant for a lovely dinner or just a couple drinks with an amazing view.

The morning after the ball we got up, put our sunscreen on and headed to the Bliss Beach Club for some SUP boarding. It was a perfect day for it...a few waves to ride and blue skies all around. It was the perfect way to end our weekend.
After we finished on the SUPs we went back to the hotel and our pool bar looked far too inviting during happy hour. So we decided a margaritas was the perfect ending to the perfect weekend getaway!
